Mark Wright lands his first film role

He’s left TOWIE and now it looks like he is on his way to Hollywood. Mark Wright has got his first acting role playing Kelly Brook’s love interest in a new British Gangster moving starring Danny Dyer and Tamer Hassan.

A source told the Sun: "Mark is keen to get into acting and Cockney gangster films are right up his street. He loves The Business and Football Factory so it's a dream for him to work with Danny and Tamar. Add Kelly into the mix, he's made up."

Mark has been winding up friends by saying he’s going to be the new George Clooney, do you think he’s right? We’re not sure we want to get rid of the old one yet.

    He was wooden as a tree in TOWIE and he was supposed to be himself, so won't be watching his film. I feel sorry for all the out of work actors with talent. This knob should not be "walking into roles".

    I used to look forward to my tuesday heat fix, but now i dnt even bother buying it... im sick of reading about Pete and Katie, the two most boring and pointless people ever!!! oh and i hate TOWIE aswell... bloody pile of poop!!
