It looks as though Jonathon Ross has some kissing and making-up to do. The chat show host who's famous for interviewing a long line of A-list celebrities found himself in a pretty awkward situation when interviewing Batman star Tom Hardy,
Tom, who plays Bane in the much anticipated upcoming film The Dark night Rises, began the interview telling Jonathon that he wasn't able to discuss his role in the film. According to audience members, this made for the start of what was to become a very stilted interview, made worse when Jonathon played a clip Tom thought he'd seen the back of.
Jonathon showed viewers Tom appearing on morning show The Big Breakfast back in 1998. The actor entered a modelling contest on our favourite morning show and the clip showed him accepting first place in the comp, yay!
The very gorgeous Hardy probably should've laughed off the clip and answered Wossy's questions, but unfortunately he threw a right strop instead. Viewers say that Tom left the interview looking grumpy, to which Jonathon responded,
'He is genuinely p*ssed off with me'." A source who was at the interview says,
"Tom really wasn't happy about the footage being shown and said he looked like a total idiot...After that moment, the interview was a squirm-fest. Especially when Tom said he couldn't talk about his part in the new Batman film...They did have a hug at the end though to show there were no hard feelings."
Well, we suppose they can't all be gorgeous and charming. Tom obviously doesn't realise that if you managed to appear on The Big Breakfast, that pretty much makes you royalty in our books.
