Spending time with an ex can be difficult and painful, so spare a thought for actress Vanessa Hudgens who is currently promoting her latest film Journey 2: The Mysterious Island with her costar and exboyfriend Josh Hutcherson. The pair, who have been travelling the globe together, appeared on an Australian breakfast show to talk about the film, which ended in panic when the presenter decided to ask the pair how long they’d been together. Awkward!
Towards the end of the interview the anchorman asked,"How long have you two been going out?"
This led to silence from Vanessa and Josh as they turned to each other in shock, clearly unsure how to approach the subject. Eventually Josh admitted, “We're not.”
He then continued, "We were at one point, but she broke my heart…no, I'm just kidding."
Cue nervous laughter from the anchor, Vanessa and Josh.
Josh then cleared up the situation properly, "That was a while ago, no, we're just really good friends now.”
The embarrassed anchor quickly apologised to the couple, saying, "Sorry, I think someone in the studio here stitched me up with some incorrect information.”
His female co-host, who was clearly amused by the situation, added, "That was a bit awkward.”
Oh dear!
