We’re so happy to hear this news that we might do a little dance. Lovely Amanda Holden has finally returned home from hospital, a gruelling eight days after giving birth to her baby daughter Hollie Rose.
It was Amanda’s spokeswoman Alison Griffin who confirmed the good news. She announced, “We are delighted to say that Amanda is now home. She and Chris (Hughes) would like to thank everyone who was involved in her care for their amazing skill and dedication, and also to thank everyone who sent such kind thoughts and wishes during this time.”
Ms Griffin went on, “[Amanda] is, of course, thrilled to be home with her family - Hollie is absolutely beautiful. Amanda and Chris are completely besotted with their two girls.”
Ahh, isn’t that amazing news! We bet little Hollie is an absolute beauty with those two as parents too.
Last week is was revealed that Amanda had suffered through a horrible labour which left her in a “critical condition" and "in intensive care”. Hollie Rose had arrived a month early and was delivered by emergency caesarean, weighing just over six pounds.
At the time a source explained, “There was a huge loss of blood and Amanda had to have a number of transfusions. She lost several pints of blood.”

Thankfully though the Britain’s Got Talent judge, who will not be replaced on the panel, is making a good recovery and is now well enough to take Hollie home to settle in with her mum, dad and big sister Lexi (Alexa).
Phew! Amanda, we’re so glad you’re back home and safe and happy. We can’t wait to see little Hollie Rose!
