Waxworks of famous folk go one of two ways. Either it’s like looking at a waxy clone, or the wax doppelganger looks nothing remotely like the star it’s modeled on.
A new waxwork of Dannii Minogue has been unveiled in Sydney, and we fear it falls into the latter camp. The hair just looks a bit wrong (has Dannii’s barnet ever been that huge?), and waxwork Dannii doesn’t look as fresh-faced as the real Dannii standing next to her. Incidentally, doesn’t Dannii look fab at the photo call? How does she do it?
While we’re not 100 per cent impressed, at least Dannii loves her new life-sized replica,
“I'm astonished by the accuracy, fine detail and remarkable likeness. I think back to all the times I've been busy and needed to be in two places at once - wow, now it's true. I can't wait for my family, friends and everyone to come to the Sydney attraction and see me up close," she said.
The dress that waxwork Dannii is modeling, is based on the gorgeous frock real Dannii wore to 2010 NTAs when she’d just announced that she was pregnant with her son Ethan. The dress is actually one of heatworld’s favourite ever red carpet looks.
