While most musicians would probably give there little fingers to spend some time in the studio with the guitarist, Dappy would rather watch a few nudey ladies.
Dappy told The Mirror:
"I decided out of the blue to just tell my engineer, 'Stop. Stop, stop. Everyone stop', I said to them, 'I'll be five minutes. I'm going over to get some food'.
"I just had the urge to go to a strip club. I don't know... So I went to this club, had a couple of drinks and came back five hours later... Brian expects me to be promoting the record, not going out."
Well, we think this is just bad manners! He could have at least taken the opportunity to invite Brian, or at least sent a quick text from the club.
However, Brian doesn’t seemed too put off by Dappy’s absence and has even recently said how much he loves Dappy’s work:
"I had Radio 1 on, which I basically don't understand a lot of the time," he said. "This track came on which was Dappy's 'No Regrets', and I thought, 'I do get this, this does something for me'.
"It's very different... so vocal led, which I love. I thought this was really interesting and I wanted to know more."
