David Beckham is rich, famous, successful and officially sexy (he didn’t top heat’s 101 Hottest Hunks On The Planet poll for nothing). So you’d think David would have more friends than he can count, but in fact he has just three! Yes, three!!!
“I’ve got friends at the different teams I’ve played for, but family is the most important thing to me,” David has told Men’s Health.
“That will always be the case. I’ve got my wife. I’ve got my four kids. I’ve got parents, grandparents still, and three really good friends. It’s all you need. I’d rather have three really good friends than 20 good friends.”
Of course, this revelation makes us love David all the more. He’s still down-to-earth and clearly values real friendships over being buddies with all the random celebrities who he encounters. We just have two questions: who are the lucky three, and does he need a fourth friend?
Expanding the family?
If David really doesn’t want or need any more friends, it could be because he hasn’t ruled out expanding his family. During his recent appearance on Jonathan Ross’ chat show the footie hunk admitted that he’d like more children with wife Victoria Beckham,
“We might have one more or two more, you never know. We're not thinking about it yet, but if it happens, great. We're enjoying the kids as it is. It's always a thought. I mean, we're busy people and we're enjoying the four kids that we've got already and we're lucky, we're lucky to have four healthy children.”
We’d love to see more Beckham babies as the current four are so darn cute.
