Is Alexandra Burke secretly a WAG? Well, it would seem so! Apparently the X Factor winner has been secretly dating footballer Jermain Defoe for all of about two weeks (why did no one tell us?!). Which means we have ourselves a RANDOM COUPLE ALERT! Hooray!
According to The Sun the pair have been mates for ages and have just decided they are more than friends and should couple up!
They have even been spotted on a date at the super swanky Landmark Hotel last night.
A source close to the fledgling romance told the paper:
"She's a big personality and more than a match for him. A few of the lads have been winding him up at training about it,"
"They had been in touch for a while, and one thing just led to another. Alexandra had been playing hard to get and a lot of flirting was going on. She finally gave in the other week and they took things further.
"They are both really happy and looking forward to meeting up more often when she comes off her UK tour."
However, Alex should be warned… being a typico naughty footballer, Jermain does not have the best track record. In the past he has dated Danielle Lloyd until he cheated on her, leaving her all sad and him with a whiff of the Ashley Cole. He was also engaged to Charlotte Mears for a time, however called it off and has dated none other than Imogen Thomas. But who knows? Maybe Alex could be the one to tame him?
