Kate Middleton has revealed the name of hers and William’s new arrival… No, it’s not a baby, it’s a dog! Called Lupo!
Quite frankly, as excited as we are about the prospect of Kate and Wills having a baby, we’re actually glad that Lupo is a dog because we can’t imagine that’s a nice name to have as a person. Even though it is Italian for ‘wolf’, it sounds a bit too much like ‘lupus’, doesn’t it?
Anyway, Kate revealed the name of the black cocker spaniel yesterday while in Oxford visiting Rose Hill Primary School. She was there to promote the charity The Art Room, which provides art therapy for disadvantaged children.
According to The Telegraph, one of the pupils who is helped out by the project, handed Kate – addressed as “Miss Catherine” for the day – a stuffed toy dog after hearing that she had a puppy. She said: “Why don’t we call it after my dog? He’s called Lupo.”

There’s been much speculation over the name of the pooch, but up until now royal aides have declined to reveal the name, saying that it’s a private matter for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The puppy must be good news for Kate, who is currently living alone while Prince William has been working in the Falkland Islands as a search and rescue pilot for the RAF.
The new addition to the family is a son of Carole Middleton's dog, and arrived just before Christmas,. We're sure they'll know that a dog’s for life, not just for Christmas!
