We’ve always thought that Keira Knightley was a well brought up well-mannered young lady. Turns out she has a cheeky side, literally….
The A Dangerous Method actress appears on tonight’s Jonathan Ross Show, and as well as confirming that she did indeed down shots of vodka to get through the ruder scenes in her new film, she also talked about her bottom. And more specifically the fact that she won’t show it on camera.
To kick off their chat Jonathan handed Keira a shot of vodka to help “relax” her, and the Atonement actress was shocked that it was real voddy,
“It’s really vodka,” she exclaimed, “I thought it was going to be water. That’s quite a surprise, thank you.”
Clearly feeling loose-lipped after sinking a shot, Keira also discussed the time she selected her own bottom double.
“Three women came in and just dropped their trousers”
“I did a film called Domino and,” Keira recalls, “I have this policy in films where I say, ‘You can have the top half but you can’t have the bottom half,’ and it kind of works quite well. And there was this scene in Domino where I was meant to do a bit of a strip tease and a dance with a thong on. A sexy thong dance, and I was just like, ‘It’s not going to happen.’ And so I said, ‘Could you get me a bottom please?’”
Continues the stunning actress, “And they said, ‘Absolutely.’ And so I went into a room with Tony Scott, the director, and these three women came in and just dropped their trousers and he was like, ‘Well, which one do you want?’ And how do you say to the bottom double, do you say, ‘Well I don’t want that one, that one’s crap,’ well obviously you don’t because the woman’s standing there. You can’t be rude.
“The girl we picked had a lovely bottom”
“I was just looking for one that’s around the same shape as mine, just a bit better. So there was one that was really amazing and I was like, ‘No one’s going to believe that.’ You don’t get a feel. They then go out and you discuss the bottom. It’s tricky, you go, do I introduce myself or not, and it’s a bit weird if you don’t. The girl we picked had a lovely bottom.”
