Kim Karadashian’s legal team is being kept busy at the moment. They’ve got the small matter of Kim divorce from Kris Humphries to deal with, and they’ve also just done battle with publicist Jonathan Jaxson.
Kim began legal proceedings against Jonathan when he popped up on various celebrity news programmes after Kim announced her divorce, claiming he was Kim’s employee from 2007 to 2009 and alleging that Kim’s 72-day marriage was “staged”.
Legal action
Needless to say, Kim wasn’t very happy about Jonathan speaking out and after Kim’s lawyers released a statement to say that she’d never even worked with Jonathan she began legal action. The two parties have now reached a settlement, and Kim’s people have a released a statement confirming that Kim is pleased with the court’s ruling,

“Kim Kardashian is very happy to announce that she has reached a settlement of her claims against Jonathan Jaxson. Kim is extremely pleased with the outcome of the matter.”
Public apology
As part of the settlement Jonathan has been instructed to issue a public apology to Kim, publishing the following on his website,
“I wanted to apologise publicly to Kim Kardashian for any confusion that I may have caused by the personal statements I made recently regarding Kim Kardashian. I would like to further clarify that I did not have any first hand knowledge of Kim's relationship with Kris.
“Any statement I made regarding Kim and her marriage was my opinion only and was not intended to imply first hand knowledge of Kim's thoughts and feelings.”
