We know Kim Kardashian’s exact thoughts on the breakdown of her 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries. Thanks to Kourtney And Kim Take New York we’ve had a week-by-week account of what she’s gone through before she decided to file for divorce, and she’s also spoken at length in the aftermath of split being made public.
Meanwhile, Kim’s soon-to-be-ex-husband Kris has kept reasonably quiet about the break up, but finally the basketball star has decided to speak out, tackling the claims that he married Kim to make money.
“To me it was real,” he has told Access Hollywood. “I would never go through something or do something that wasn't real or I didn't believe in, so I can really only speak for myself in terms of that.”
“I would never do anything strictly for money”

Continuing on the theme of money Kris continued to emphasize that he’s not focused on money and that being wealthy hasn’t made him happy.
“In my life, there's been opportunities to make money and I don't believe in what it is. When I was kid growing up, it was always like, ‘Man, one day I want to have this or that,’ and you work so hard and that's your goal, but when you get all those things that you wanted, those things don't make you happy.
“Money only has so much – it doesn't rule my life so I would never do anything strictly for money.”
Moving on

The 27-year-old sports star also revealed that despite his wife being linked to other men since their split, he isn’t on the dating scene yet,
“I'm not dating anyone right now, what do they say? ‘My girlfriend is Spalding.’”
What do you think about Kris’ comments on his short-lived marriage? Do you believe him?
