We feel a bit sorry for Lauren Goodger this morning, as The Only Way Is Essex star’s brand new salon has been the victim of a petrol-bombing! Lauren opened the shop just last night, and was all smiles as she introduced the salon to the public, which she has aptly named Lauren’s Way.
However, it was only hours after the reality star was signing autographs that the site was set upon by arsonists, who preceded to post petrol bombs through the front door and smash in its windows. Lauren’s salon was the only building to be hit in the area last night at around 10pm, leading police to believe that the attack was specific in nature. Lauren had tweeted her excitement about the salon’s grand opening yesterday, tweeting,
'Thanks for everyone who have come into the shop today! Very sweet! We are officially opened press launch next week x x'
This isn’t the first time a TOWIE star has been singled out. It was only last October that Sam and Billie Faiers were mugged and violently attacked by a group of girls, and even Mark Wright’s Deuces Bar and Lounge was set upon by arsonists the night after it opened.
Luckily no one was hurt in the fire, although all residents living above the salon were evacuated. Police are now guarding the store and are said to be investigating the matter.
Well, we know TOWIE is very much a ‘Marmite’ show, but there’s no need for all this!
