Rihanna turns 24 next Monday, but the RnB beauty celebrated her birthday in style a week earlier, at the Hearst Mansion in Beverly Hills.
The party was Caribbean themed and guests tucked into a delicious Caribbean-style dinner along with a selection of super cute sprinkles cupcakes, decorated with little Barbadian flags. Err, where was our invite?
Around a 100 friends and family showed up to the private party with a star-studded guest list including Bruno Mars, Chris Martin, BFF Katy Perry, and even her ex boyfriend Chris Brown.
Ri had a DJ blasting music through both floors of the house, as well as a brass drum player setting the scene and getting everyone dancing with some Caribbean beats. In addition to this a photobooth complete with dress-up clothes was all part of the fun, where guests could take keepsake photos. A guest said,
“Rihanna was dancing all night and had an amazing time celebrating with her friends”.
To top off the night, at 2am Rihanna was surprised with her very own custom birthday cake which featured an image of Rihanna, lying on her stomach in a red bikini bottom on a seashell, obviously.
The star and her glitzy guests managed to polish off over 20 bottles of Armand de Brignac Brut Gold champagne, so we imagine those photobooth pictures will be pretty interesting.
Rihanna even extended party bags as a parting gift for guests, but there wasn't any googley-eyed monsters, left over cake or crayons in sight, guests were handed high-end Camacho cigars. Ri Ri clearly enjoyed herself and tweeted,
'Last night was special!!! #itsnotevenmybirthday'
We seriously need to re-think our birthday plans.
