Gary Barlow in X Factor pay rise talks?

Gary Barlow has confirmed that he IS in talks to return to The X Factor (hoorah!), and has been since before the end of the last series.

“I started talks two weeks before the last one finished. We are talking,” Gary tells The Sun.

Apparently, X Factor bosses are working on ways for Gary to be a judge and for him carry on working on a new Take That album (new Take That – double whoop), they’re also reportedly looking at bumping up Gary’s already impressive £1.5million pay packet in an effort to entice him back on to the show.

Now this is very good news as The Captain was pretty much our favourite thing about the last series of The X Factor. Would you like to see Gary back in the Head Judge’s chair?

    Just glad hW haven't sunch to the lows that the other tabloid papers have and printed all the pics of the bath and her last meal. Lets hope they don't make it into heat next week.

    I was just gonna say something along those lines, if you're in a relationship that's one thing, but if you're married with kids should you not make more effort? Always the same lame excuse. And yes I do agree with Celine Dion, the celebrity lifestyle seems to be too tempting for some and takes over their lives, and it's unfortunate what ends up happening.

    I agree, LittleVicki, it's just a line they come out with. I guess celebs don't want to share the real reasons of a split, or maybe just not until magazine deals are set up.

    I was going to say that it may be difficult to have two stars in the same familiy, but then again, maybe not. It does work for others...

    I just dont understand why celebrities constantly blame work and spending too much time apart as an excuse to split up or divorce. People who have wives/huslands/girlfriends/boyfriends in the armed forces manage to make it work. Just seems like a pretty lame excuse to me...
