Here at heat we’re still shocked and saddened by the untimely death of pop icon Whitney Houston. And while speculation about the cause of her death is rife, it could be weeks before there are any conclusive answers about how Whitney died.
Coroners have said they will not release any information on the autopsy that was performed on Sunday, at the request of detectives who are investigating the circumstances surrounding Whitney’s passing, reports CBSNews.com. Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter has at this stage refused to confirm any details about the condition of the room that Whitney was staying in at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, nor have any details been released about evidence recovered at the scene.
We do know that there were no signs of foul play or trauma, however at this stage official aren’t ruling out any causes of death until full toxicology results have been submitted. It’s thought that it will likely take weeks to obtain the toxicology report, which means Whitney’s family and her millions of fans will have to wait before they get any answers about the singer’s death.
