If you, like us, were absolutely devastated when 2 Shoes were knocked out of last year’s X Factor, then you’ll be just as happy as we are to learn that the Essex pair has been given a record deal!
The duo were overheard by our source at the Ministry of Sound club in London, saying that not only are they signed to a label, but they’re set to record house music and that there’s a 2 Shoes album slated for a summer release! They added that they’re on strict diets in the mean time, and hope to lose two stones each before they give the charts a go.
The duo was unceremoniously knocked out of the X Factor after Tulisa decided to eliminate them in the first round. After mop-headed womaniser Frankie Cocozza was kicked out for breaking a “golden rule” of the show, they could have returned to replace him, but sadly received the lowest number of public votes.
Though they're mad keen on house music, they weren’t at Ministry of Sound to listen to your average dance track, but in fact attending a Zumba event.
Other celebrity guests to turn up included Mel B’s sister Danielle Brown and TOWIE newcomer Bobby Norris. Danielle wasn’t shy, and jumped up on stage to show off her Zumba moves. She was guarded about her recent Twitter spat with Mel, though, refusing to comment on the nasty exchanges.
Bobby, who our source says was taking full advantage of the free bar, said that he’s not sure if he’ll be back for the fourth series of the show: “I’m having the time of my life but don’t know if I’ll be back yet. I hope to find out later this week so fingers crossed.”
New mum and ex-Eternal singer Kelle Bryan was nattering away to soul singer Nate James, and confirmed, much to our dismay, that their 90s band - unlike S Club 7 - won’t be reforming. Nevermind Eternal, 2 Shoes are back! How exciting is that?
