When we think of fit, active sporty types, TOWIE’s Arg doesn’t spring to mind (though he might waddle). He disagrees, though. We caught up with the Essex boy, who insists that he’s “prepared” to run London’s 26-mile long marathon, and thinks that he could be the “hunk” of the new series of Essex.
Just after getting back from boot camp in Marbella, he told us: “I’m feeling more and more prepared, I’m running longer distances and I’m a lot fitter than I was.”
So far, so self-assured. But when we asked him how far he can run, he hit some stumbling blocks: “I reckon, possibly, I’m not too sure…I haven’t, I haven’t pushed myself to the very limits just yet, but I’ve been running comfortably ten sort of miles comfortably.”
He added: “I’ve already seen a difference from when I started training to now – so we’re getting there. It’s not going to happen overnight but the more training I do, the harder I work, the better I eat, the better results.
“I want to get rid of my love handles, my belly could go, my thighs could get smaller, my man-boobs could shrink - those are things I’d like to change.”

With some way to go before getting washboard abs, not all is lost: “I’ve got a nice golden brown tan!”
Ever since Mark Wright quit the hit ITV1 series, the producers have set up Ricky Rayment to be the hunk of the show. But Arg told us he wants a piece of the beefcake action: “I’d like to think I’m heading in the right direction to getting a better body. Hopefully I’ll be the new TOWIE hunk for next series.”
Well, Arg is certainly convinced that he's going get buff - do you think he's up to the challenge?
Arg will be attending the Goo Games Live at Westfield London on 18th March from 12pm. Be there to be in with a chance to win Olympic Games tickets. Visit facebook.com/cadburycremeegg for more info
