Clearly not one to hold a grudge, Harry Styles’ ex Caroline Flack has tweeted her congratulations to the One Direction boys for getting their first US Number One.
Caroline’s former flame and the rest of the 1D boys have gone straight to the top of the US Billboard charts with their album Up All Night and Caroline couldn’t be happier for them. She tweeted earlier: “Incredible news for One D!!!! HUGE news x”
The Xtra Factor presenter dated Harry – 15 years her junior we might add – last year, but when Caroline began receiving death threats from 1D’s plethora of devoted fans, the couple decided to call it a day.
Other celebs to show 1D some love at this exciting time include Caroline’s X Factor co-presenter Olly Murs. “WELL DONEEEEE!! @onedirection #1 with Debut Album in US Billboard Charts!! 1st Ever Uk Band to do it!! That's amazing stuff lads!! Ledge!!”
As well as the man who started it all – 1D’s X Factor mentor Simon Cowell. “I couldn’t be happier for @onedirection, it is an incredible achievement. They deserve it. They have the best fans in the world.”
The boys' US chart success is extra impressive because 1D are the first British act to EVER go straight to the top of the US charts with a debut release – not even The Beatles or Take That managed it!
All that time away from their devoted fans back in Ol’ Blighty has obviously been worth it – but come home soon, yeah?
