The stunning and very talented Cate Blanchett has some very strong opinions on plastic surgery, and she’s not afraid to share her views.
The naturally beautiful actress, 42, says she would never consider halting the aging process with Botox or surgery because in the long term results aren’t that great.
“There's been a decade or so of people doing intervention with their face and their body,” Cate tells Fashionista.com.

“Now that we're emerging from that, people are seeing that long term it's not so great. I’m not sitting on a soapbox telling women what they should and shouldn’t do, but I know what works for me. I’d just be too frightened about what it means long term.”
We have to say, we think she makes a good point.
Pitty!
The Australian actress also admits that she ultimately she feels sorry for the women who’ve ruined their looks with too much surgical work,

“In the end if you have all that stuff done… you just see the work. It doesn't fill me with admiration – it fills me with pity.”
Do you agree with Cate’s point of view? Do you look at some stars who’ve overdone it with surgery and feel sorry for them?
