Ever since she became Lily Cooper, Lily Allen has been enjoying the fruits of being a stay at home mum, but she and husband Sam Cooper chose a London restaurant for a rare night out since the birth of baby Ethel last year.
The Smile singer pretty much disappeared after having her much-longed for baby - although we had vague thoughts she might have been bouncing off the walls with nappy-induced boredom considering her party girl past.
However Lily looked happy to call it a night early and she and Sam drove off in a black taxi after their meal.
Lily has always spoken about wanting to get married and a family and was understandably delighted with the birth of baby Ethel in November.
The happy news came just a year after the singer tragically lost her baby when she was six months pregnant. Lily was pregnant again with Ethel before she married her now-husband Sam Cooper in June 2011.
While she was pregnant with Ethel Lily expressed mock-outrage on Twitter that husband Sam had taken to calling her his ‘little fat controller’. Let's hope one of Lily's first roles as mum was to knock that nickname on the head.
