One Direction's Louis Tomlinson says feud with The Wanted is “silly”

The ongoing feud between One Direction and The Wanted might soon be over, after 1D’s Louis Tomlinson has branded the argument “silly”.

When asked if One Direction have bumped into the Glad You Came singers while on a Stateside promo tour, Louis said: “We haven’t seen the boys, I’ve only read in the press what they might have said.” But as far as where we stand I think it’s all pretty silly to be honest. We are two boy bands but we actually make quite different music.”

The feud started when The Wanted’s Max George said that the One Direction boys were "just faces" - the two boybands have been in hot competition in the US, where they're both trying to make it big.

Speaking to Alex James on his InDemand radio show, Louis spoke about how thrilled he is that 1D have broken records with their number one album, Up All Night: “We kinda got a number one album in America which is apparently historic which is phenomenal. It’s quite surreal to be honest, it hasn’t really sunk in.”

The boys should be very proud – not only did they score a number one album, but they are the first British group in history to hit number one in their first week in the charts!

Louis put to bed any rumours that the boys will star in their own TV show: “I think there must have been some misunderstanding. We are doing the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, but as far as a TV show goes, we haven’t sat down and had that conversation.” “If it was up to me personally, I just want to focus on the music for now.”

We’re totally cool with that, Louis, but can you boys come back to Blighty soon? We miss y’all!
