We love a good celebrity cat fight, especially when it features one of the cheekiest, most out-spoken men in showbiz, Piers Morgan.
‘But who has he dared to pick on this time?!’ We hear you cry, well Piers being Piers, has gone to the top of the pop music food chain and decided to throw a few insults Madonna’s way. The CNN presenter has claimed that due to a spat, if the singer wants to appear on his show, she’ll have to get down on bended-knee and apologise. Piers says,
"Madonna can come on [my] show, but she has to get on bended knee and apologise to me"
That’s right, Piers has been building his career as a presenter over in the US, and decided to take to Twitter to tell the singer that she’s not welcome on his show when she signed up to the social networking site for one day.
The savvier showbiz fan might be aware that this isn’t the first time Piers has publicly expressed his dislike for the star. He previously criticised her Superbowl half-time performance and even branded her “annoying”.
To make matters worse, when Madge’s manager Guy Oseary responded to an appearance request for his UK show Life Stories, Piers responded,
"Madonna's only been banned from my #CNN show @guyoseary - not my UK show, which sent that invite. But I'm now banning her from that too."
Usually, blabber-mouth Piers is very open with his opinions, however he has kept the reason for the feud close to his chest, only recently revealing that there was a “private spat” and suggesting that there was no way for the two to overcome it.
We don’t know about you, but we now can’t think of anything better than Madge appearing on the show.
