Rihanna is about to make her acting debut in Battleship playing a gun toting naval officer - but could her next role see her do something a little more familiar?
Ri-Ri has admitted that she’d “love” the opportunity to play Whitney Houston if a biopic about the tragic singer’s life was ever made. The We Found Love singer also understands that to do justice to playing such an iconic character would take a lot of dedication
“That would be something that I would have to give my entire life to do, because I would really want to pull it off,” Ri-ri told The Press Asscociation. “That's a huge, huge role and whoever does it has to do a good job.”

Rihanna also opened up about how Whitney was a huge inspiration to her; the 24-year-old singer credits Whitney with inspiring her to find a career in music,
“My first song that I remember falling in love with was a Whitney Houston song I Will Always Love You. It was really inspiring and it made me develop a passion for music, so really, she's partly responsible for me being here in this industry.”
