After he ruined her big moment at the MTV Awards you’d forgive Taylor Swift for never wanting anything to do with Kanye West ever again… and that includes wearing something from his fashion range.
The country cutie dressed up in a black striped top designed by Kanye for a shoot in Australia’s Harper’s Bazaar. Taylor wore (hid?) Kayne’s creation under a Maison Martin Margiela wrap and accessorised with necklaces by Tiffany & Co. and Fiona Paxton.
We’re still getting to grips with Kanye being a fashion designer, but he presented his second collection at Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday night. Pals Kim Kardashian and Katy Perry showed up to race go-carts, Taylor’s invite must have been lost in the post.
Ahh, we’re just stirring up trouble. Kanye has of course apologised to Taylor several times after he stormed the stage at the 2009 MTV EMAs during Taylor’s Best Female Video acceptance speech. He even went so far as writing a song for the country singer,
“I wrote a song for Taylor Swift that's so beautiful and I want her to have it," he said via Twitter. “If she won't take it then I'll perform it for her.
“She deserves the apology more than anyone, we’re both artists and the media and managers are trying to get between us. Everyone wants to capitalise off this [in] some way.”
It’s not called capitalizing, Kayne. It’s called gossiping. Duuuhhh.
