It’s back to work for Beyonce Knowles. The super star mum’s maternity leave will come to an end in May, as Bey is set to play three live shows in Atlantic City.
The Love On Top singer will play a series of small-ish shows as part of the launch celebrations for the $2.4billion Revel entertainment centre on May 25, 26 and 27. People.com reports that Bey will take to the stage at the 5,050 capacity, smoke-free Ovation Hall. Smoke free? We hope that mean Beyonce will be bring along little Blue Ivy – it’s so cute to see celeb babies in those adorable little noise protection headphones.
Beyonce is also working on her next album, with producer Ryan Tedder revealing recently that he’s been in talks with the new mum about the follow up to her album 4.
“The conversations about her next album, literally, just started and there [are] two projects happening. All I can say is, you kind of feed her the best that you have, and she's this phenomenal filter and she takes it all in.”
Back in the 90s we all wanted to be a Spice Girl – and Jennifer Ellison is still a Wannbe Spice.
The Dancing On Ice star has already performed on the stage in Chicago and Calendar Girls, now she wants a part in the new Spice Girls musical that is being written by Jennifer Saunders.
“I would love to be a part of it,” Jen tells The Sun. “I could play Baby, I've got the boobs for Geri and the hair for Mel B as well. I'll tell you what, I'll play a different one each night!”
Jen, that’s certainly a good way to let the producers know you want a role. If Jennifer Sunders is listening, we’ve perfected our Posh pout over the years…
