It’s a good thing Cheryl Cole no longer sits on the X Factor judging panel with Louis Walsh, because she’s had a pop at her former co-star, who also happens to be Girls Aloud's former manager.
Louis managed Girls Aloud after Popstars: The Rivals finished, but Cheryl has now spoken out to say that all he did was take a pay cheque,
“We never had management. Louis claimed to be our manager but he never did it” Cheryl has told the new issue of Marie Claire.
“We didn't talk to him or anything like that. He just took a cheque.”
But it doesn’t end there. Just to hammer the point home, when asked how much involvement Louis had with the girls Cheryl said
“Zero involvement. Oh yeah, he took the cheques. We managed ourselves. He never chose a hit. Who chose them? Us.”
We can’t see outspoken Louis taking this quietly – so it’s over to you Lou Lou…
Chanel boss Karl Lagerfeld has reportedly attempted to make amends with Adele, by sending her a collection of fancy designer handbags
As you’ll remember, Karl carelessly branded Adele “fat” and after a huge media backlash he attempted to backtrack. Now he’s decided the best way to say sorry is with expensive gifts, so he’s sent Adele a collection Chanel bags.
“He told his team to send Adele the best the fashion house have to offer after hearing she collected bags. He said he really wanted to make it up to her so they could maybe work together in the future," a snitch tells The Sun.
“He's annoyed with himself because he ended up insulting her when he meant to compliment her. He thinks she's beautiful and calls her divine."
We’re not sure some arm candy is quite enough of an apology. What do you think? Perhaps Karl should just think before he opens his mouth?
Pick up a copy of this week’s heat – on sale now – as we reveal the man who broke Adele’s heart and inspired her to write her album 21.
Ronan Keating has been out and about just a day after the news broke that he has split from his wife of 14 years, Yvonne.
Attending a launch for World Autism Awareness Day in Dublin with bandmate Keith Duffy, the Boyzone songer was asked about the split,
“It’s tough times,” he told The Mirror. “You can only keep going. You can’t hide away, you’ve got to keep on moving.
“We’re trying to get through it as a family and we still love each other.”
Meanwhile a source has added that the Ronan and Yvonne are doing their best to stay on good terms,
“Things are pretty tense but they will remain an integral part of one another’s lives. They remain friendly.”
We hope for the sake of their three children that they can stay friends.
