Usher is in town! We haven’t been this excited to have a 90s American singer back in the UK in a looong-while. The velvet-voiced heartthrob is in London taking a visit to the BBC Radio 1 studios in London.
Last time Usher, 33, was in London he had a stint on Loose Women, two passions of ours we never thought would collide. The lady presenters were in their ELEMENT.
We don’t blame you Carol and co., Usher has been getting people hot-under-the collar since circa 1997.

Interestingly, we remember the silky-smooth singer, real name Usher Terry Raymond IV, had a little dip out of our celeb-conscious for a bit in the mid-noughties, mainly because he was nowhere to be seen.
We’ve no idea where he went but the important thing is that he’s back in the limelight and probably (definitely) taking advantage of all the female attention that comes with it.
He’s spoken in the past about what women mean to him. He’s done that a lot actually. And the general feeling we get is that he doesn’t love the ‘girlfriend label’.
For one thing he calls it ‘companionship’. “Companionship is important - every man should have a woman to make him better,” he says.
Usher’s last serious relationship ended back in 2009, he was dating Tameka Foster.
Last time we heard from Usher it was his Confession (sorry) about having had a little kiss with Rihanna.
He said it was a bit like kissing his cousin. “She’s beautiful. But she’s not necessarily on my hit list - she’s like my sister right now. Or cousin - we have kissed.”
If Rihanna can’t sway him, there’s no hope for the rest of us.
