What we thought was a fledgling showbiz relationship has already hit a rocky patch - there have been reports that Alexandra Burke has been cheated on by footballer boyfriend Jermain Defoe.
Earlier this week, it was alleged that Jermain had a fling with model Laura Brown. She says that they had sex in a Newcastle hotel, after having met only twice before. But in a previously recorded TV show, he said that things between him and X Factor winner Alexandra were fine!
In a recording of football show A League Of Their Own, he says: "Things are good. She's been giving me some vocal lessons". Comedian Jack Whitehall pointed out: "You've had more a*** than the Big Brother diary room chair."
According to The Sun, producers of the show are trying to edit out his lines before the show airs in May. Laura, who got to know Jermain over the internet - Facebook, that devil - said: "I'm not going to lie - we did have sex. I never planned on sleeping with him, it just happened."
"You can see girls in Newcastle clubs week after week with different footballers and I think, 'You are so stupid.' Now I'm the stupid one."
Jermain isn't one to stick around in relationships - he's previously dated Danielle Lloyd (he broke off an engagement with retail manager Charlotte Mears to be with her) and two Big Brother contestants - Chantelle Houghton and Imogen Thomas.
Alexandra has remained quiet on the matter, instead posting photos of herself and her 'team' drinking wine.
Ugh. What a scumbag. Better off without, Alexandra.
