Maggie Gyllenhaal, super-talented actress and older sister to the yummy Jake, gave birth to her second baby girl earlier this month. Maggie reportedly gave birth on 19th April and has named the child Gloria Ray. Cute! And very traditional, non?
A representative for the actress and her hubby Peter Sarsgaard, both seen above at the Hysteria premiere in Italy back in October 2011, confirmed to Us Magazine that the couple had welcome their little girl into the world. The gorgeous couple already have a 5-year-old daughter named Romana.
Maggie had previously spoken about how keen she was to keep her second pregnancy schtum for as long as possible.
Chatting to USA Today back in March, Maggie said,"I find it difficult to pretend you're not pregnant, which I had to do. I didn't let anyone know until three and a half months this time. I went to film festivals. I'm throwing up in the bathroom and having to keep pretzels in my purse, and having to fit into dresses."
So there you have it. Another celeb tot is on the block and mummy Maggie no longer has to worry about keeping a stash of pretzels in her purse. Why you wouldn't want extra salty snacks in your bag, we don't know.
