Last weekend, we reported that Peaches Geldof had become a mum and that her son is called Astala. Her and fiance Tom Cohen had decided on the name months ago, though. So why has Bob Geldof waited until now to say that he thinks the name is silly?
When asked about the name, he told The Sun: "Yuck! I've actually been begging them to change it.
"What's he going to be called in school? Ass? Stella? It's a girl's name, let's face it."
We think it's pretty rich for Bob Geldof to bang on about silly names. Him and the late Paula Yates gave all of their children ridiculous names: Fifi Trixibelle, Peaches Honey Blossom and Little Pixie are hardly the most subdued of names, are they?
But it seems Bob isn't totally anti-Astala, as it's nice to have a boy in the family (as well as Fifi, Peaches and Pixie, he has adopted Paula and the late Michael Hutchence's daughter Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily Hutchence).
He said: "I’ve swam in oestrogen my entire life, and now finally a little chap comes along. It’s great.”

In other Peaches news, she's tweeted an almost-adorable photo. Not of baby Astala, but of Tom sleeping next to their dog, the wonderfully-named Parpy.
She told her followers: "Good morning Tom and Parpy who just jumped up into bed (Parpy's broken paw is totally healed now!)"
We think Parpy must have had a bit of a problem with his paw. We would look into it, but we're guessing you care about a dog named after farting as much as we do…
