Well, that didn’t last long! The war of words between Cheryl Cole and Louis Walsh is already over (boo – we loved the drama!).
Last Night Chezza took to Twitter to tell her followers that she’d been in touch with her former manager and she explained that he’d asked for a truce.
“Spoke to Mr Walsh... And he asked me to post his text as he does NOT have Twitter...” Cheryl began.
“Hello, Cheryl !! Princess of pop and biggest hair in the land!!!! Let's call a truce to all this stuff in the press and things that happened 10 years ago!!
“We always had fun on the X Factor and I always defended u against the wicked Cowell!! Life is too short u and I always said!! I'm looking forward to your new music and think u shud come on the X Factor live show to perform!!!!
“Keep smiling !!!! Louis Walsh still on X Factor !!! !! P.S are they really your eyelashes?!! LOL xxxxx.”
We’re assuming that by posting his message, Cheryl has accepted.
Louis and Cheryl’s war of words began Cheryl claimed that the boy band manger actually had “zero involvement” with Girls Aloud when he was managing them.
“He took the cheques. We managed ourselves. He never chose a hit. Who chose them? Us,” Cheryl blasted in Marie Claire.
Louis couldn’t resist having a pop back, telling this week’s heat (on sale now) that Cheryl’s a nice girl who might want to consider vocal lessons,
“What is she peddling this time? Eyelashes or hairspray? It’s definitely not her music! At least I am still on The X Factor and happy to be there. I’m a much better manager than she is a singer.
“Has anyone ever heard her sing live or a cappella? If she comes back on The X Factor, she needs to sing live this time. I don’t know why she’s started this war with me. Cheryl is a great clothes horse. Nice girl, but likes to get her own way. I’ve got two words to say: vocal lessons. When I write my book, I’ll tell the real story of Cheryl.”
The new issue of heat is on sale now!
