We've been excited about the prospect of a Girls Aloud reunion ever since the band had their last performance together back in 2009. So, you can imagine our excitement after we found out that the girls met for secret talks about said reunion just yesterday in a London hotel.
The meeting must've been slightly awkward, after the very public reported fall out between Nadine Coyle and her fellow former bandmates, as Nadine tried to crack American and allegedly spent less and less time with the girls. A source says,
"The girls have been trying to organise a meeting for months but have been so busy with solo projects. They were really excited to see each other - even though Cheryl, Nicola and Kimberley meet up regularly,"
Another band mate, Sarah Harding, has overcome a turbulent year after splitting from her DJ fiancee and spending a stint in rehab. Since her time in the clinic Sarah has been spotted out and about looking much healthier, we bet she's raring for a reunion. The source continued,
"They haven't seen much of Sarah recently following her stint in rehab and Nadine has been out of the picture living in LA. Nadine was eager to speak to the girls face-to-face to ensure there is no bad blood."
We're glad that the girls could meet up and regain some of that girl power to light up the stage at the reunion which is due to showcase at the beginning of 2013, it'll celebrate the bands tenth anniversary. Will you Heatworld citizens be buying tickets?
