Katy Perry’s hair might be purple, but her ears are almost certainly red – she’s a big topic of conversation on Facebook
The 26-year-old spent the weekend smooching with a new love interest at the second weekend of the Coachella music festival in California, and his friends have been gossip about it on the social networking site.
It turns out that Katy snuggle buddy was actually Florence + The Machine guitarist Rob Ackroyd and his mates have since subjected him to a barrage of banter,
“Did you kiss a girl and like it? The taste of her cherry chapstick…” one friend joked on the site.
While another went for a less subtle approach by quipping,
“I’m guessing there is probably f*** all chance of you getting an autograph off Russell Brand now...”
Snogging and hugging
Katy is said to be smitten with the Florence guitarist and the two couldn’t keep their hands off each other, and on-lookers told The Mirror that they looked like a couple who’d been together for year. Awww.
“Katy watched Florence and Rob perform from backstage. When Rob came off stage, she ran up to him with her arms outstretched for a hug. You would have thought they’d been dating for years, she looked so into him. He looked like the cat that got the cream.
“When they weren’t holding hands, they were snogging, hugging and fawning over one another. It was adorable.”
Adorable isn't quite the word that we would use.
