Former pairing Katy Perry and comic Russell Brand have been involved in their fair share of press over the past few months. The breakdown of the couple's marriage has made headline news the world over.
It seems that the attention has become too much for singer Katy, the usually bubbly lass has hit out in a recent interview, but she's not blaming Russell, she's blaming fame. The singer claims that she is "tired" of being famous, saying,
"Fame is just a disgusting by-product of what I do...It can love you, and then it can attack you. But really, I stopped focusing on what other people think a while ago."
The singer doesn't even understand why some of her most loyal fans become over-excited if they get a chance to meet the star, she continued to say,
"I want to be as approachable as possible. I'll say, 'Calm down, there's nothing to cry about'. I'm not going to bite you or attack you or grant you three wishes. Let's just hang out and have a good time."
We've always known that Katy has wanted to stay as down to earth as possible, but in a profession that attracts some much interest, what do you think Heatworld citizens think of celebs tendencies to complain about all of the attention?
