Here’s one for the strange but (apparently) true file. Kevin Costner has revealed that Princess Diana had expressed an interest in breaking into Hollywood by starring alongside the actor in a sequel to The Bodyguard.
We know… weird!
Kev has told US TV host Anderson Cooper all about it on his Anderson show, even revealing that Di wanted the Field Of Dreams star to write the script,
“Diana and I had been talking about doing Bodyguard 2,” said Kevin.
“I told her I would take care of her just the same way that I took care of Whitney. She wanted me to write it for her. I said, ‘I'll tailor it for you if you're interested’. She goes, ‘I am interested.’”
Diana could have certainly drawn on personal experience for a Bodyguard sequel, but we’re still finding this very weird indeed. Maybe Princess Dianna was just being polite and trying to make conversation with Kevin?
No Bodyguard role for Rihanna

In other Bodyguard news, Rihanna recently ruled out taking the role made famous by Whitney Houston in a remake of the film. The 24-year-old pop star has said playing the part of a singer wouldn’t be enough of a challenge for her,
“I want to play a character. My whole life is playing Rihanna, being a singer [in a film] won't be a stretch for me,” she said. “I like challenges and being an actor is playing a role, being able to step into somebody else's shoes, that's the excitement.”
