Ooh this could get awkward folks. There has been some serious slamming going on across the pond – and this time it’s Rosie O’Donnell who has had words to say about Lindsay Lohan’s new role in a new Elizabeth Taylor biopic called Liz & Dick.
The talk show host, who was appearing on NBC's Today, voiced her opinions on the casting – saying she “felt very sorry” for Lindsay who isn’t “in a place to work”.
Rosie said, “"I feel very sorry for her... I think she needs a lot of time away," the chatshow host said. "She's had a lot of trouble doing every single movie, including SNL. She was out and not in rehearsal. I think she's not in a place to work."
And when a co-star stepped in to suggest Li-Lo could actually work out well in the role, Rosie concluded, “You’re out of your mind! The last thing she did good she was 16. I don't think she's right for the role and I don't think she's capable at this point to portray that character.”
Crikey! That lady doesn't mince her words.

Now, we all know playing Elizabeth Taylor will be a huge role and any actress should be totally honoured to do so – but do you think Rosie (pictured above) has a point? Or is she getting far too outspoken about the whole thing? Perhaps the filming will keep Lindsay away from any more scuffling and trouble… only time will tell.
But whether Ms Lohan will have something to say about Rosie’s views is a whole different matter. Well, she’s not one to keep quiet now, is she…
