If you’re not up on your One Direction news that headline might not make sense. Quick recap: there’s another group called One Direction and the US five-piece are planning on suing Simon Cowell’s record label Sony and Syco for £630,000 over the use of the name.
Now fans of the X Factor boy band have turned nasty (is no one safe from their wrath?) flooding the American One Direction with vicious hate mail warning them to back off,
“There has been so much hate mail, like people threatening to cut our balls off.” The group’s frontman Sean O’Leary has told The Sun. “The one that stands out for me is a girl saying she wanted to kill my father.”
Those One Direction fans really do take the pop star worship thing to extreme lengths, don’t they?
IF One Direction had to change their name, would should they call themselves?
While all the legal drama about their name unfolds, 1D continue to take the world by storm. They’ve been mobbed by thousands of fans in Australia as they promote their debut album Up All Night.
