Poor old Niall Horan’s pride took a beating recently after Skins actress Freya Mavor turned him down when he asked her out on a date.
The cheeky Irish chappy fell for Freya – who plays Mini in the E4 series – when they met at the end of 2011.
“Niall took a liking to Freya and they chatted a couple of times in between interviews,” a source told The Mirror. “It was just after The X Factor last year, but, sadly, the feeling wasn’t reciprocated.
Don’t worry Niall, we know plenty of girls who’d love to go out with you.
“It wasn’t too awkward, most of the cast know some of the band anyway.”
So why didn’t Freya want to go out with our gorgeous Niall?
“She is single but she’s confident and knows her own mind, and Niall just wasn’t the one for her - Freya just said he wasn’t her type.”
Niall prefers chilling to dating
Niall recently revealed he’s not much of a ‘dater’ and hasn’t been on that many dates, not even since becoming a teen heartthrob.
He said he’d much rather be “sitting at home, chilling and watching a movie.”

Let’s hope Freya hasn’t since changed her mind about Niall after seeing him and the rest of the boys making their Saturday Night Live debut this weekend.
The guys performed two tracks on the show, which was hosted by Modern Family’s Sofia Vergara.
