We always respect a lady who can give as good as she gets, and this definitely goes for Scarlett Johansson. The titchy star - she's only 5'4! - said that the boys on the set of The Avengers gave it their all during the fight sequences, and that she felt "like they did try to kill me".
The actress, who appears in the upcoming movie alongside Robert Downey Jr., Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth, did a load of her own stunts, but they took their toll.
At the Los Angeles premiere of the film, she said: "I came in knowing that was going to be a challenge and I brought my A-game. Nobody took it easy on me."
"They were in full force, these boys, and I guess at times I had to remind them, like, 'I need my beauty sleep to keep up the visage'. They liked to play hard."
According to People, she recalled one particular fight scene with one of the lads: "he was going all-out against me. I was like, 'will you hold it back? I'm trying to work it out here. I've got smaller muscles than you.'"
"I feel like they did try to kill me for five or six months. But it's OK. I held my own."
It probably helped that she could distract the boys from being all punchy-kicky by flaunting her incredible body in her Black Widow catsuit.
When asked what she thought of the skin-tight outfit, she said: "I love it. I can't get enough of it." She admitted that the outfit didn't fare well during the action sequences, so she hasn't kept it as a memento: "I think it was just shredded. I don't think I even had enough to take home. There was like thismuch fabric left after all those fight sequences."
We think it's for the best she didn't hang onto that catsuit, it's bound to have got sweaty during all those fights, and it's exactly the type of thing you don't want to shrink in the wash - camel toe, anyone?
