It’s a day of sad news for all the Harry Styles fans out there, reports are saying he’s got himself a new girlfriend.
Harry met Sarah-Louise Colivet when One Direction were in America and they’ve stayed in touch. The pop star clearly has a taste for older women, his alleged new lady is six years his senior
They shared some romantic kisses last month and friends have told The Sun, they’ve grown, “very close very quickly.”
Sarah-Louise’s mum confirmed things are heating up, “It’s true, she has struck up a friendship with him. They met in New York. She said he was great fun and a really nice guy. They’ll definitely stay in touch.”
We wonder what Caroline Flack makes of this all.
PETA have got into a fight with another celebrity, this time it the turn is the star of The Hunger Games, Jennifer Lawrence.
PETA were offended when Jennifer made a joke out of a scene in the film Winter’s Bone where her character skins a squirrel. Jennifer was talking to Rolling Stone about the clip when she revealed, “I should say it wasn’t real, for PETA. But screw PETA.”
PETA were not amused and released a statement saying.
“She’s young and the plight of animals somehow hasn’t yet touched her heart. As Henry David Thoreau said, ‘The squirrel you kill in jest, dies in earnest.’”
“When people kill animals, it is the animals who are ‘screwed,’ not PETA, and one day I hope she will try to make up for any pain she might cause any animal who did nothing but try to eke out a humble existence in nature.”
Don’t hold back PETA, it was only a joke.
The organisation has since toned down their remark telling Gossip Cop, “That was just a throw-away remark, and we have our bet on Jennifer ending up joining the ranks of other young celebrities like Natalie Portman, Lea Michele, and Kellan Lutz, who are using their influence to help animals.”
We hope that PETA don’t notice that Jennifer's character spends a lot of The Hunger Games hunting animals, they’ll be furious.
No it’s not an episode of Doctor Who (although we’d love to see One Direction in Doctor Who), One Direction are being sued by another band called One Direction.
A five piece band from California are trying to get an injunction to stop One Direction from using their name and they want a share of profits. Outrageous!
The lawsuit claims that Syco (Simon Cowell’s music company) and Sony Music “chose to ignore the plaintiff’s rights and wilfully infringed them” after they realised in early 2011 that the two bands had the same name.
The American One Direction’s lawyer Peter Ross told The Hollywood Reporter, “Rather than change their name or do anything to create confusion or avoid damage to our good will, they chose to press ahead and come on their tour,”
“We’ve been in negotiations for a month to find a resolution. In our view, the negotiations weren’t turning out to be very productive.”
What we want to know is what the other One Direction look like. In our imagination they look like One Direction but with evil-style goatee beards (We'd still fancy them).
