True artists can get inspiration from just about anywhere. Be it a retro car, a beautiful Art Deco building or...a sofa. You can LOL but according to Victoria Beckham, she is inspired by, amongst other things, furniture.
When Victoria swept into the fashion world, many a fashion meany LOL-ed. After many very successful collections, including her diffusion line Victoria, and an award for Designer Brand of the Year at the prestigious British Fashion Awards, it's safe to say it is Mrs Beckham who has had the last LOL.
So how did Victoria manage to jump from singing pop tunes with the Spice Girls to becoming a designer of clothes other celebs can't get enough of?
Speaking to website LaneCrawford.com, Vic has said she's often very surprised by how, where and why she's found inspiration for her past collections.
'Inspiration for me comes from the most unexpected things! From books, to my family and surroundings, exhibitions, furniture, drawings... The list is endless. Sometimes it is the most surprising everyday things that suddenly transpire into something great in the collections.''
Does this mean that when we look at a pic of Eva Longoria wearing her BFFs design we'll suddenly find ourselves fancying a cup of tea because the Vic was inspired by a teabag when scribbling?
oh, this is a game we could definitely get our teeth into. First one to spot the Goldenballs-inspired dress gets a bottle of champers!*
