Cheryl Cole to sing at Jubilee Concert?

Cheryl Cole to sing at Jubilee Concert?

With the sun out, the Pimms flowing and union jack flags absolutely everywhere, it's totes time for a good old royal knees up, yah? Good news, then, that Cheryl Cole could be part of the official Diamond Jubilee concert at Buckingham Palace.

She hinted at her appearance during an interview with Elle magazine in Cannes, pointing to a Roberto Cavalli dress and saying: "It may come to the Jubilee", and now a source has told The Mirror that she's a dead cert for the regal gig.

The mole said: "There are already huge names appearing on the bill but Cheryl is the cherry on top. "She is one of the biggest stars in Britain and will ensure young people tune into the concert."

The source added that the June 4th gig was an opportunity Cheryl couldn't say no to: "She doesn't do many live appearances but when Gary asked her she couldn't turn him or the Queen down. She is promising a spectacular performance and I am sure the Princes will be happy she is on the bill."

Yeah, we bet ladies' man Prince Harry will be chuffed to see Cheryl perform!

Gary Barlow is set to sing a song that he has written specifically for the event, imaginatively titled Sing. Other people set to perform at the event include Elton John, Jessie J, JLS, Ed Sheeran and Ciff Richard. So Cheryl will be in good company, then!

Do you think Chezza would be a good addition to the Jubilee concert line-up?
