Bollywood actress and Big Brother star Shilpa Shetty has welcomed her first baby into the world.
Though we still don’t know the baby’s name, we do know it’s a little boy.
Shilpa’s husband Raj Kundra announced the news on his Twitter in the early hours of this morning.
“God has blessed us with a beautiful baby boy. Both mother and baby are fine. I am thrilled to bits!!!!!!”
The excitable new dad then went on to thanks his wife and the staff at the hospital in Mumbai where the baby boy was delivered.
“A big thank you to my wife @TheShilpaShetty for the bestest gift ever, DR Kiran Cohelo and all the staff at Hinduja Hospital!”
Continuing to feel thankful, Raj tweeted: “Thank you all for your love and wishes for our new born. Both mum and Baby K are resting. Our Parents now turn grand parents #blessedbaby”

Shilpa, who shot to fame in the UK after appearing on Celebrity Big Brother in 2007, met Raj soon after appearing on the reality show. The couple married in 2009.
Last year, Shilpa announced her pregnancy on Twitter.
“'YES an addition to our family is our confirmation to all queries :) We seek blessings from all in this very beautiful phase of our lives.”
