Kerry Katona has never denied the fact she’s struggled with drink and drugs in the past. But now the former addict is keen to use her own personal experiences to help others.
Ex-Atomic Kitten and reality TV star Kerry has opened a boot camp-styled rehabilitation clinic to help other with the problems she combated.
“I got massively lost in life. Cocaine became my best friend, my only friend. I went to boot camp and the first time I turned up there as high as a kite,” she told Radio Five Live.
“A week-and-a-half through it, it was like coming out of a coma, the fog being lifted.
“Silly as this sounds, exercise changed my life. It was the first time I had a natural high."
Kerry wants to expand this venture and eventually work with the NHS to help addicts.

The mum-of-four was terrified her troubles with drink and drugs would kill her, like fellow celebrities Amy Winehouse and Whitney Houston.
“The likes of Whitney and Amy back in the day – I really thought I would be first to die. I got massively lost in life.”
Kerry has spoken about her fears of facing the same sad fate as Amy before.

“I look at the likes of Amy Winehouse, God rest her soul, and I found the strength to get out of the mess I was in. I have four beautiful healthy children, my career's going from strength to strength, and I'm happy and healthy and on top form,” Kerry told Daybreak in January.
