The McFly boys really are growing up.
Tom Fletcher tied the knot with his gorgeous long-term girlfriend Giovanna Fletcher (nee Falcone) this month, and now Harry Judd has asked his girlfriend Izzy Johnston to marry him.
All together now… Awwww!
The McFly drummer-turned-Strictly Come Dancing champion announced the happy news on Twitter, telling fans, “I liked it, so I put a ring on it. #engaged.”
Harry has been dating Escala violinist Izzy since her group supported McFly on their tour in 2005. The couple moved in together last summer, just before Harry announced his was taking part in Strictly, and he made no secret of his desire to make Izzy his wife while he was on the BBC dancing show,
“I want to keep it as romantic and spontaneous as possible for her,” he told the Sunday Mirror after his win. “I want it to be a complete surprise. We are very settled together and we talk about the future a lot.
“I absolutely know 100 percent that in her I have found ‘The One’, and yes I do want marriage, kids, the whole deal with Izzy,” he said.
Harry got a bit of wedding day practice in at Tom’s wedding; along with Danny Jones and Dougie Poynter he was best man at the ceremony. After the big day Tom tweeted to his fans,
“Thanks for all your messages yesterday. We had the most INCREDIBLE wedding with our friends and family. I am the luckiest husband EVER!x”
