The One Direction boys are certainly no strangers to being mobbed by thousands of screaming fans.
But on a recent trip to New York, the fellas were enjoying a rare day off when a plethora of teenage girls descended on Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Niall Horan.
The crazed mob yanked and pulled on the boys’ hair and clothes, before they were safely shuffled into cars by security, according to Press Party.
The band are currently in America performing a headline tour to promote their chart-topping album Up All Night.
Liam and Niall take to Twitter
The guys are used to being mobbed by fans, but on this particular day, when they boys were relaxing in Manhatten, it hit a nerve with Liam and Niall. Both took to twitter to show their upset at what had happened.
“That wasn't even funny,” Liam tweeted angrily.
And Niall followed suit by saying: “This is a complete joke... ridic... Day off, wana chill.”
Despite fans being camped outside 1D’s hotel, Niall later posted a far more relaxed tweet about the fella’s loyal following.
“Love all you mofo's... can hear u singing outside the hotel.”
Well if you boys will be so darn hot, talented and adorable – what do you expect…
