It’s all about celebs showing off their little bundles of joy today. Earlier we saw Jessica Simpson’s daughter Maxwell Drew for the first time and now it’s Stacey Solomon’s turn to introduce 2-week-old son Leighton.
Stacey tweeted a picture of the little one lying alongside his older brother Zachary. The boys were enjoying the spell of good weather we’ve been having lately.
“Enjoying the sun!”
Stacey also tweeted a picture of 5-year-old Zachary getting himself ready for a day of fun in the sun with his stepdad – Leighton’s dad – Aaron Barham.
Leighton’s birth
Stacey admitted that Leighton’s two and a half hour birth was a walk in the park compared to Zachary’s excruciating 37 hour labour.
Leighton weighed 7lb 7oz when he was born at 12:30pm on May 5 at the Queen’s Hospital in Romford, Essex.
Dagenham-born Stacey said his birth was so quick, she didn’t even have time for drugs, so gave birth to him naturally.
“I was back home and in my own bed that evening. It was as if I’d just gone to the shops and come back with a baby,” she told The Sun.
Stacey also spoke about fiancé Aaron’s relationship with Zachary.
“Aaron looks at Zach the same way he looks at Leighton. It was nerve-racking for me in that respect because it would only be natural if he saw them differently but, thankfully, he treats them both the same.
“If anything, he gives Zach more attention so he doesn’t feel left out.”
The couple are hoping to tie the knot next summer – and she’s already got some interesting plans for the big day…
