She’s the super-rich child of mega-rich Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone, but that doesn’t mean Tamara Ecclestone takes money for granted.
“You’ve got to have respect for money. My dad worked so hard for everything he has, and he and my mum come from very humble beginnings,” she tells this week’s heat.
The 27-year-old heiress also insists that money doesn’t make you happy, “You can be rich and be really miserable. Money definitely gives you freedom, and you don’t have to worry about things. But if you’re a miserable person, you’re a miserable person.”

And to put her money where her mouth is, Tamara – who has dressed up as Wonderwomn for heat – has set up an auction site to raise money for Great Ormond Street hospital,
“My charity work is very important to me, because I had an amazing childhood and not everyone is that lucky. When you go into somewhere like Great Ormond Street, it really does give you a reality check.”
Tamaragivesback.com is Tamara’s designer clothes eBay auction. All profits go to Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital.
