It felt like Jessica Simpson was pregnant with her first child forever.
But since finally giving birth to baby Maxwell Drew Johnson on 1 May she admits she couldn’t be happier.
Jessica also says that everything’s changed since the not so little (9lb 13oz!) bundle of joy arrived nearly a month ago.
“My life has completely changed. From how I sleep to what I think about, Maxwell has definitely taken over everything!” Jessica told People magazine.
Unsurprisingly Jessica and her fiancé Eric Johnson just can’t keep their eyes of her.
“We stare at her all the time. We can't get enough!”
Jessica and Maxwell obviously discussed what they were going to wear for the magazine shoot as both can be seen wearing pretty white dresses, with Maxwell sporting a super chic headband.
The singer and Fashion Star, who had baby Maxwell via caesarean section, admitted she misses her little one when Eric takes over feeding duty.
“It's the worst if I have to pump and give Eric a bottle to give her. I miss holding her and having that closeness.”
Pricey pictures
Rumour has it these first pictures of Maxwell were sold for a hefty $800,000.
But that’s nothing compared to what some celebrities get: Jennifer Lopez, apparently charged People $6 million for snaps of her twins Max and Emme, and Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt made $11 million when they sold pictures of their twins Vivienne and Knox to the publication.
Just think of how many rusks you could buy with that sort of dosh…
